Silence greeted him. It wasn't the kind of empty silence one got when there was nothing there, but the kind of silence that echoed when the things in the shadows weren't sure if they were ready yet to spring out and shout 'boo'.

Conan growled in the back of his throat and pushed up his glasses with a finger. "I don't know how you did it, nor do I care. But if my phone doesn't stop singing 'They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard' every time someone calls me by tomorrow evening, you're going to find yourself breathing through another orifice."

Ayumi's cheerful small voice chirped up behind him. "They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!!!"

Conan's hand met his forehead with a sharp smack. "Not again..." He muttered.

"They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!" Mitsuhiko echoed.

Genta struck a dramatic pose. "They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!"

"What did you say?" A cheerful voice inquired from the depths of the shadows.

"THEY'RE TAKING THE HOBBITS TO ISENGARD!" Genta, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko cheered back.

"Stupid fat hobbit." Conan grumbled.
